A Look Around Silver Wattles

Nine views of the old scale room, the card parlour and the kitchen at Silver Wattles.

Before you visit

What You’ll See Inside

The brick frontage of Silver Wattles on Queen Street, Warragul, lit for the evening

The card parlour takes up most of the ground floor, six felt tables under the original pressed-tin ceiling, with the old cream-can doorway still marking the entrance from the street.

A smaller lounge sits behind the parlour, quieter and better lit, where guests often finish the night over tea once the tables close.

The kitchen sits to one side, open enough that you can usually see the pass from the dining tables near the window.
