Five Hundred
Three tables, most nights of the week
Felt, chips and a house dealer most evenings — here’s what to expect at the tables.

Five hundred fills three of the six tables on a typical evening, with the house dealer moving between them until each table settles into its own rhythm.
Crib and rummy run on the two smaller tables near the window, usually starting earlier and finishing earlier than the five hundred tables in the middle of the room.
Canasta gets a table most Fridays, and a friendly poker table with no buy-in usually starts once the dinner crowd has thinned out, somewhere around nine.

Anyone can ask the house dealer for a seat, and most tables will make room for one more if there’s space on the bench.
Chips are handed out at the door with your numbered ticket and count for points only; there’s no wagering and no cash prize at any table in the room.
New players are welcome — the house dealer will talk you through five hundred or euchre before the hand starts, no charge and no obligation to keep playing.
